OBITUARY:
Delores Esther Bacon, 71, 1055 23rd St. SE, died Thursday at a Salem hospital.
She was born in Tonasket, Wash., and came to this area 20 years ago from California. She was a secretary for a realty company in Jefferson four years, then was hostess at the DAR Museum at Champoeg until her retirement two years ago.
Surviving are daughter Pearl Hatfield, Turner; sons Richard H. Stolper, Portland, and Norman Stolper, Salem; brother Orville Kellogg, Yakima; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 pm Saturday at Weddle mortuary, Stayton, and interment at Turner IOOF cemetery.
