Mrs. Hann of Turner Dies: Rite Pending.
Mrs. Alice M. Hann, resident of Turner since 1910, died Saturday night in a Silverton nursing home at the age of 81.
Born in Hanley England, Feb. 4, 1878, she moved to Canada in 1903. She married R.G. Hann in Canada in 1905 and the couple came to this country and settled in Turner in 1910. The couple farmed here for many years. Her husband still operated a farm 1 ½ miles southwest of Turner.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church in England.
Survivors besides the widower are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Koenig, Woodburn; as son, R.G. Hann, Central Howell; a brother and sister in England; and five grandchildren.
Services are pending at Clough-Barrick Funeral Home, Salem.
