OBITUARY:
Nellie Minnie Dungey, 90, of Salem died Sunday in a Salem care center. She was born in Missouri. She married Robert Dungey in 1918, in Long Creek. They lived in Washington before moving to the Fairfield-Gervais area 62 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Gervais Presbyterian Church. Her husband died in 1968.
Survivors include her son, Ralph of Keizer; daughters, Mildred Lamb of Whittier, Calif., Ida Lesher of Salem and Barbara Bernard of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Interment will be in Fairfield Cemetery, near Gervais.
Contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
