OBITUARY:
GERVAIS—Former Gervais resident, Marguerite I. DuRette, 61, of Portland, died Tuesday at her home. She was born in Fairfield, Ore., and was a physical therapist at Emanuel Hospital in Portland until retiring a year ago. She was a veteran of World War II, member of Portland Presbyterian Church and Altrua Guild.; Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald DuRette, Gervais; brother, Donald R., Canby; sisters, Joan James, Everett, Wash., Martha Booster, Corvallis, and Florence Saalfeld, Gervais. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn, and interment in Fairfield Cemetery, west of Gervais. The family suggests memorials to the Altrua Guild, in care of the Portland First Presbyterian Church.
