BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE - Bend Bulletin obituary for Dorothy Jean Bacon (Jan. 5 1921 - Mar. 21, 2004) gives her parents names as John and Essie (Parker) Hugill;
OBITUARY: 
WOODBURN—Mrs. Essie May Hugill, 72, former Woodburn resident, died Wednesday at a Eugene hospital. She lived in Woodburn from 1929 until 1952, when she moved to Oakridge to live with a daughter.; She was born in Salem. Her husband, John, died in 1937.; Survivors include three sons, John, West Pakistan; Albert, Hillsboro, and james, Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Mary (Betty) Clifford, Oakridge, and Mrs. Dorothy Grafton, Portland; Mrs. Vai Perigo, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Ida Jamison, Spokane; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fairfield Cemetery west of Gervais. The body will lie in state at Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Home in Woodburn until 1 p.m. Saturday.
