OBITUARY:
MARION—Stella Emma Garrison Barnett, 70, of Marion, died Thursday.
Born in Avilla, Mo., she came here in 1951. She was a member of the Marion Friends Church.
Survivors include her children, Loretta Dodson and Eva Davis, both of Albany, Pauline Blocker, Portland, Kay Barnett, Marion, Bobbie Odau, Salinas, Calif., and Nora Combs, Sacramento; brothers, Archie Garrison, Miami, Mo., Johnny Garrison, in Alaska, Willard and Clarence Garrison, both of Modesto, Calif., and Claude Lancaster, Salem; and sisters, Fern Herr, Salem, and Mary Lee Herr and Ruth Rightenour, both of Modesto.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fisher mortuary, Albany. Interment will be in Marion Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
