Ruth Harriot Blain
July 18, 1906-March 19, 1995
MARION—Ruth H. Blain, 88, died Sunday.
A native of Boulder, Colo., she moved to Oregon in 1932, and to Marion in 1968. She was a telephone operator for many years. Her first husband, Fred Jones, died in 1941. Her second husband, Jack Blain, is deceased. She was a member of Marion Friends Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking.; Survivors include her daughter, Sally Ann Johnson; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Marion Friends Cemetery. Arrangements are by Weddle mortuary in Stayton.
