1910 OK CENSUS - Daisy M. Guess, age 19, single, b. Kansas, is enumerated with Benjamin H. [Harvey], age 56, occupation retail store clerk, b. Indiana, and Emma, age 53, mother of 3 children, b. New Jersey, is enumerated with her husband of 32 years, along with Toledo, age 26, single, b. Kansas.
OBITUARY: 
Marion—Maud, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Guess, was born in Osbourne county, Kansas, July 13, 1890, and died April 4. When five years old her parents moved to Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, where she grew to womanhood. After the death of her father in 1934 the family came west to make their home. Survived by her mother, Mrs. Emma Guess; sister, Toleda Guess, brother Cog Guess; a niece, Mrs. Virgil Baxter; four great-nieces, Mary Jo, Betty Burns, Joyce and Maxine Baxter, and a great-nephew, Jimmy Dean Baxter, all of Marion. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Presbyterian church. Rev. J. Y. Stewart, pastor, officiated. Pallbearers were Harley Libby, Hugh Brockway, Ralph Brockway, Howard, Raymond and Roy Jones. Music was furnished by Mrs. Noble Shearer, Mrs. J. L. Salaven, Mrs. Harley Libby and Mrs. Homer Smith. Mrs. Selmar Lee presided at the organ. Interment was in Marion cemetery.
