Sep 1892 in California, Annie, age 5, b. Jun 1894 in California, Frederick, age 4, b. Jun 1895 in California, and Clara, age 1, b. Jan 1899 in California.
1910 OR CENSUS - Fred Haack, age 43, occupation farmer, b. Wisconsin, is enumerated with his wife of 23 years, Alma [Anna], age 46, mother of 11 children 9 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Norway, along with Laura, age 23, occupation servant, b. Iowa, Frank W., age 19, b. California, Viola C., age 15, b. California, Anna K., age 13, b. California, Frederick age 13, b. 1920 OR CENSUS - Fred Haack Sr., age 53, occupation farmer, b. Wisconsin, is enumerated with wife Annie, age 56, b. Norway, along with Fred Jr., age 22, b. California, Lillian, age 19, b. California, Bonnie, age 15, b. California, and Olivia, age 13, b. Oregon.
1930 OR CENSUS - Fred W. Haack, age 64, first married at age 20, occupation farmer, b. Wisconsin, is enumerated with his wife Anna, age 67, first married at age 24, b. Norway.
F. W. Haack, 92, Succumbs
Frederick William Haack, 92, a resident of Marion for more than 50 years, died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Max Schulz, Jefferson.
Haack, a retired farmer, was born Feb. 26, 1866, at Theressa, Dodge County, Wis., and lived in Iowa and California before coming to Oregon in 1890. He moved back to California three years later and returned to Oregon and settled in the Marion area in 1906.
His wife, Anna Olson Rusley, died Dec. 15, 1934. He had lived with his daughter in Jefferson for the past nine months.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church, the Farmers Union and Marion Community Club.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Schulz, Jefferson; Mrs. Viola Brander, Troutdale; Miss Laura Haack, San Francisco; Mrs. Bonnie Doerfler, Albany; and Mrs. Olivia Kaplinger, Mill City; a son Frank Haack, Santa Cruz, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.; Services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church at Marion, the Rev. E. H. Becker officiating. Interment will be at Marion Cemetery. Virgil T. Golden Mortuary is in charge.
