Born in Bandon, she was worthy matron of Euclid Chapter of Eastern Star Lodge 70 in 1970-71.
Survivors include husband Ray Sr.; sons Ray Jr., Salem, K. Edmund, Stayton, and Tom, Scofield Barracks, Hawaii; daughters Laura Clark, Corvallis, and Carol Carpenter, Turner; parents Florence Nelson, Mehama, and Kenneth Lofton Sr., Springfield; brother Kenneth Lofton Jr., Stayton; eight grandchildren.
The casket will be open at Weddle mortuary, Stayton, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Weddle’s, interment in Marion Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the OES Cancer Research Fund.
