1930 OR CENSUS - Mary Overholser, age 29, married at age 19, b. Montana, is enumerated with husband Claude, age 31, married at age 21, occupation farm laborer, b. Oregon, along with Lowell, age 8, b. Oregon, and Ruth, age 5, b. Oregon.
JEFFERSON—Mrs. Mary V. Overholser, 67, Jefferson, Rt. 1 Box 151, died Tuesday in a Salem nursing home.
She was born at Helena, Mont., moved to Marion as a child and to Jefferson in 1939. She was a member of Talbot Community Church and Jefferson Garden Club.
Survivors include the widower Claude, Jefferson; daughter Mrs. Ruth Turnidge, Albany; sons Lowell, Albany, Gale, Salem; sisters Mrs. Dorsey Grey, Aumsville, Mrs. Al Fennell, Lebanon; brothers William and Edward Thomas, both of Orland, Calif., and Ralph Thomas, Springfield; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Virgil T. Golden mortuary, Rev. Gordon E. Chaffey officiating. Burial will be at Marion Cemetery.
