Jun 1846 in Illinois, along with Charles H., age 17, b. May 1883 in Kansas, and George W., age 12, b. Oct 1887 in Kansas.
1920 OR CENSUS - Charles H. Smal [Small], age 36, occupation farmer, b. Kansas, is enumerated with his wife Lena, age 23, b. Sweden, year of immigration 1908, along with daughter Retha, age 5, b. Montana.
Charles Henry Small, late resident of Marion, at a local hospital, March 11. Survived by widow, Lena Small, Salem; brothers, George Small, Philomath, and Leslie Small, Corvallis. Services will be held Monday, March 14, at 2 p.m. in the Friends church at Marion. Interment in Marion cemetery. Direction by Clough-Barrick company.
