AUMSVILLE — Grace Clark, 76, died Tuesday.
She was born in Enterprise, moved to the Willamette Valley in 1927 and graduated from Aumsville High School. She moved to Marion in 1937 and lived in the North Santiam area since that time. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, oil painting, cooking and canning. Her husband, Howard, whom she married in 1941, died in April. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Jerry of Salem; daughters, Marlyn Newburn of Lebanon, Melba Davidson of Detroit; brothers, George McCoy of Conrad, Mont., Leonard McCoy of Carmel, Calif.; sisters, Fern Darby of Lebanon, Ruth Berry of Eagle Creek, Doris Knieling of Salem; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be 1 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday in Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton. Services and interment will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Marion Friends Cemetery. Contributions: charity of choice.
