OBITUARY: 
MARION—Pastor Edward F. Harmon, 71, minister at Marion Friends Church, died Thursday at a Salem hospital.
He came here 13 years ago from Ashland and also has been a pastor in Nampa, Idaho. He taught religious education at George Fox College, Newberg, for six years.; Survivors include widow, Lois; daughters, Suzanne Livingston, Portland, Carolyn McDonald, Paris, Ky., Lois Ann Slayback, Pana, Ill., Merry Penna, Milwaukie; brother, Howard S., Seattle; sisters, Dorothy Vaughn, Portland, Velma Perry, Spokane, Wash., and Madge Groenig, Lake Oswego; five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Marion Friends Church and interment in Marion Cemetery, under direction of Weddle mortuary, Stayton. The family suggests contributions, through the church, to the memorial fund for campers at Twin Rocks Friends Camp.
