He was born in Salem and raised in Marion. After graduating from Cascade High School, he worked for Jenks/White Seed Company and Jacklin Seed in Albany. He also worked in landscaping and construction. He enjoyed spending time at the Oregon coast and in central Oregon. Troy is survived by parents Ken and Ilene Long of Bend; daughter Jada Long and son Troy Long Jr., both of Jefferson; girlfriend of eight years Traci Pritchard of Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law Keni and Doug Williams, and Kelli and Curt Pieratt, all of Bend, and Traci and Steve Scuito of Salem; five nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces and nephews. Private services were held for family and close friends Monday at the Marion Friends Cemetery.
