OBITUARY:
STAYTON—Edith L. Dillard, 68, died Friday in Salem.; She was born in Bandon and had lived in Lebanon and Salem before coming to Stayton in 1972.
She married Charles “Henry” Dillard on Oct. 19, 1940. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Sharon Bolen of Albany; sisters, Leona Faulkner and Lucille Volz, both of Albany; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at Weddle mortuary, Stayton. Private interment will be in Hobson-Whitney Cemetery, Stayton.
Contributions may be made to Friends of Stayton Library or to the Mid-Willamette Valley Hospice.
