"Mary Melissa Lane Linch/Lynch was an aunt of the Miller children and the McDonalds. Sister-in-law to James Perry and Augustus Miller who are buried there also. She was born 1824 Lawrence, AL. She died 3/21/1859 in Sublimity, OR -all the other relatives who lived in the area and died around this time are buried there".

[NOTE - They are enumerated next door to Creed T. Biggers and family. Creed's wife, Nancy, is Mary's sister. Also enumerated within the Biggers household is another Lane sister, Priscilla.]
OBITUARY: 
Near Sublimity, Marion County, on the 21st, inst, Melissa, wife of James T. Linch, aged 30 years and 4 months. Missouri papers copy.
