Indiana, Elixabeth, age 6, b. Missouri, Benjamin, age 4, b. Missouri, and Oliver, age 10 months, b. Oregon Territory. Also enumerated in the home are Lindon Wright, age 30, b. North Carolina, and Thomas Avery, age 24, b. Tennessee.

MARRIAGE – “On the 19th day of March, A.D. 1857, by Elder John Stipp, Mr. Christian Farlow, of Linn Co., and Miss Lorinda, daughter of Jesse H. Adams, of Marion Co., O.T.”

1880 OR CENSUS - Lorinda Farlow, age 40, b. Indiana, is enumerated with Christian, age 49, occupation farmer, b. Indiana, along with Allie J., age 18, Debbie, age 14, Jessie L., age 4, all born in Oregon. Also enumerated with the family is Lydia J. Farlow, identified as niece, age 22, b. Oregon.
Farlow – At her home, two miles south of Marion, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1889, at 9 o’clock a.m., Mrs. Charles [Christian] Farlow, aged 50 years.
Thursday at 11 o’clock, in either Jefferson or Hunsaker cemetery, is set for the funeral. Mrs. Farlow’s maiden name was Lorinda Adams. She leaves two children, a boy, Lee, twelve years old, and Mrs. Charles Jeffries. Mr. and Mrs. Farlow formerly lived in Linn Co. on what is now known as Buckner’s place near Miller station. The deceased was aged fifty years, and came to this country by the ox-team route when a little girl, as did her husband. She had been afflicted with dropsy two or three years and died of that malaldy.
