1880 OR CENSUS - America, age 39, b. Missouri, is enumerated with husband Samuel, age 45, farmer, b. Kentucky, along with T. P., age 20, Sarah E., age 18, A. V., age 17, Clarinda, age 14, Miles M., age 11, and John A., age 6. Also enumerated with the family is Lemuel Walker, identified as boarder, age 45, b. Illinois.
OBITUARY: 
Died - At Lewisburg, Oregon on the night of Thursday, April 23, 1891 of la grippe, Mrs. A. K. Lewis, wife of Samuel Lewis, aged 47 years.
This makes the 6th death to have occured from la grippe in the vicinity of Lewisburg during the past two weeks. Mrs. Lewis had been ill a couple of weeks. The funeral was conducted at Lewisburg yesterday the remains being given interment in the Lewis Burying Ground by the side of five neighbors and friends who preceeded her.
There are still quite a number of sufferers from this ailment in the same neighborhood but reports soming from there yesterday left them all improving.
