OBITUARY:
Zelma Downing passed away at Portland Monday, Aug. 7, aged 47 years. Survived by widower Elmer N. Downing of Warrenton, Ore., daughter, Mrs. Herbert Bradley of Warrenton; mother, Mrs. Alice Patton of Macleay; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Mader of Macleay and Mrs. Eva Jones of Macleay; one granddaughter. Funeral services will be paid from the chapel of Clough-Barrick Company, Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. with Rev. C.W. Kantner officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
