OBITUARY:
Silverton – Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie M. Gibson, late Silverton resident who died Tuesday in a Salem hospital after a lengthy illness, will be 2 p.m. (PST) Saturday at Ekman-Unger Funeral Chapel here. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Born April 12, 1874, in Tonquin, Oreg., Mrs. Gibson had resided in this area most of her life. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Zeneth Barnes, Portland; son, Darrel Gibson, US Marine Corps; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
