OBITUARY: 
Waldo Hills, May 3, Olive May Riches, aged 65, wife of Charles R. Riches, member of a pioneer Oregon family, passed away Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock.
Born in Blue Earth County, Minn., November 27, 1867, daughter of Anna and John W. LaBare, she came to Oregon with her parents in 1875. She was married to Mr. Riches January 24, 1892. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and for years treasurer of the Willard Women’s Club.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Ekman Funeral Home in Silverton, Rev. H. C. Stover of Salem, officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, with the Rebekah Lodge in charge of graveside services.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Riches is survived by the following children: Harry, Captain of the Silverton National Guard company, Frank A. of Buena, Wash.; Winifred, Lois, John of Buena, Theodore and Charles Robert; four brothers, Henry LeBare of St. Helens, Bruce of Spokane, Frank and Archer of Wren, Oregon.
