OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Mrs. Josephine Hall, 72, died in a Salem hospital Friday, Mrs. Hall was born in Marion County, June 8, 1879. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. King L. Hibbard, pioneer settlers of the valley. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Frank Eldred of South Dakota, a sister, Mrs. Helen Paget, Silverton; and a brother, Claude Hibbard, Port Chicago, Calif. Funeral announcements will be made later by the Ekman Funeral Home.

Silverton – Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Josephine Hall, 72, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Louis White officiating. Arrangements will be directed by the Ekman Funeral Home. A previous announcement that the services would be Monday was erroneous.
