1930 AL CENSUS - William H. Large, age 25, married at age 21, occupation grocery store salesman, b. Alabama, is enumerated with his wife, Ruth M., age 22, married at age 21, b. Kentucky, in the home of his father Robert F., age 47, b. Alabama, and Fannie M., age 46, b. Alabama, along with siblings Thelma C., age 16, Robert Jr., age 11, and Eva, age 7, all born in Alabama.
OBITUARY: 
William H. Large, 75, 17180 Waldo Hill Drive SE, died Sunday at a Salem hospital. He was born in Birmingham, Ala., and in 1948 moved to San Francisco, Calif. He came to Salem in 1976. He was a pipe inspector for U.S. Pipe Steel Co., and member of the Baptist Church and International Order of Odd Fellows.
Survivors include wife, Ruth B.; son Walter W., Salem; sisters, Christine Coates, Eva Mason, both of Birmingham; brother, Robert J., Las Vegas, Nev.; mother, Mabel Large, Birmingham, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
