Switzerland, and [mother] Margaret, age 33, b. Switzerland, along with Rosa, age 13, b. Switzerland, Sicel [sic], age 6, b. New Jersey, Bertha, age 2, b. New Jersey, and Emma, age 3 months, b. Ohio.
1900 OR CENSUS - Anna M.Luthey [sic], age 24, single, b. Oct 1875 in New Jersey, is enumerated with father Peter age 58, b. Oct 1841 in Switzerland, year of immigration 1872, and [mother] Margaret, age 53, b. Jan 1847 in Switzerland, mother of 12 children, 9 of whom are living at the time of the census, along with siblings Ernest, age 15, b. Aug 1884 in Ohio, Edward P., age 15, b. Aug 1884 in Ohio, Charles A., age 13, b. Apr 1887 in Ohio, and Hellen O., age 8, b. Mar 1892 in Oregon;
OBITUARY: 
Miss Anna Marguerite Luthy, 90, of 1467 13th SE, died Friday in a Salem hospital.
A native of Atlantic City, N.J., the family moved to a farm east of Salem in 1888 and she moved into Salem in 1910. She had lived on 13th St. since that time. She gave piano lessons in her home for many years and was a practical nurse for a short time. She was a member of the Salem First Congregational Church.
Surviving are sisters Mrs. D.B. DuRette, Gervais, and Mrs. Albert King, Salem, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday in Barrick chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery east of Salem.
