BIOGRAPHICAL:
Charles Cawrse's and his sister Bedena Cawrse married brother and sister Elizabeth Cleverdon and Lawrence Cleverdon in a double wedding ceremony in Canada. Charles' wife Elizabeth (and a couple of children) are buried at Providence Cemetery in Scio, Linn Co., Oregon (source: Saralee Howell)

OBITUARY: 
Charles Cowrse [sic] Dies – Charles Cowrse [sic], a native of England, living 10 miles east of Salem, died at his home Sunday morning early. He has been a resident of Salem for 35 years. He was 88 years old. He leaves five children, Ida, Charles, George, and Frank, all living on the farm home, and John, living in London, Ont. (Canada). The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today from the Webb & Clough Chapel, with burial following in the Warren Cemetery.
