OBITUARY:
SALEM - Dyann was born in Silverton, Ore. on Aug. 7, 1970, the daughter of Fred and Doris Rissell Smith. She was raised on the family farm east of Salem and attended Victor Point Grade School and graduated from Silverton High School in 1988. Following graduation she worked in various jobs and married Marty Wendt. They later divorced. She married Wade Hartman in Salem in February of 2002. He survives. Until recently she had worked as a legal secretary for Marion County. She loved unicorns and had a collection of them, and will be most remembered for her love of family, especially her children.
Along with her husband, Wade, survivors include, father, Fred S. Smith and mother, Doris J. Smith of Salem; brothers, Jay Smith and Bryan Smith and sister-in-law, Diana Smith, all of Salem; sister, Gayleen Robblee and brother, Jerry Smith of Salem; sister-in-law, Angela Totten of Salem; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Robblee, Scott Robblee, Casey Smith, Jake Johnson, Savannah Johnson, and Julia Smith, all of Salem; sons, Cody and Brandyn Wendt of Salem; daughter, Danyelle Hartman of Lebanon; and nephew, Bodie Teeples of Salem.
Contributions may be made in memory of Dyann Hartman for the benefit of her children at any Umpqua Bank.
Visiting will be from 3 - 7 p.m., Fri., March 5, 2004, at Weddle Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Sat., March 6, 2004, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Salem, Ore.
