*OSBH DC (Marion County 1982) #82-13526. [Walter seems to have been enumerated twice in 1930 - he is included in the census record of his parents, with brothers and sisters - and with his wife, whom he had married in 1929, living next door to his inlaws. I am including both enumerations]:
1930 NE CENSUS - Walter Rissell, age 21, married at age 20, occupation farm laborer, b. Nebraska, is enumerated with his wife Etna [sic], age 20, married at age 19, b. Nebraska. They are living next door to her parents Herman, age 28, farmer, b. Germany, and Johanna Hoffman, age 46, b. Nebraska, and siblings Rudolf, age 15, Herold [sic], age 14, Otto, age 12, Lawrence, age 9 and Louella, age 5, all born in Nebraska.
2nd 1930 NE CENSUS - Walter E. Rissell, age 21, b. Nebraska, is enumerated with father John Rissell, age 53, occupation railroad station head, b. Sweden, and Christine, age 42, b. Sweden, along with Oscar, age 24, Harold, age 21, Nellie, age 16, Violet, age 10, Virgil, age 7, John, age 4, and Charles, age 10 months, all born in Nebraska.

OBITUARY: 
Walter E. Rissell, longtime Silverton resident, died Wednesday at Silverton Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Rissell had been taken by Silverton Ambulance Friday from his home at 11980 Waldo Hills Dr. to Silverton Hospital.
Services are pending at Weddle Mortuary in Stayton.

Services were Saturday at Mt. Hope Cemetery for Walter Edward Rissell of Silverton who died Wednesday, August 18, at Silverton Hospital.
Born January 12, 1909, in Stanton, Neb., Mr. Rissell Came to Silverton in 1947. He was a mechanic until he began farming in Waldo Hills in 1953.
Mr. Rissell was a life member of both the Salem and Silverton bowling associations.
In a May 1, 1929, ceremony at Yankton, SD, he took Edna Hoffman as his bride. She survives him. Other survivors include a son, Clarence Rissell of Gladstone; daughters Doris Smith of Salem and Joan McCulley of Newport; brothers, Oscar Rissell of Pender, Neb., Virgil Rissell of Virginia Beach, VA., John Rissell of Sioux City, Iowa, and Charles Rissell of Sallisaw, Okla.; sisters Nellie Carr and Violet Schwartz, both of Worland, Okla.; nine grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.
Casket bearers were Jim Moen, Jim Neal, Alex Currie, Don Markham, Don Mader, and Howard Mader.
Family suggests contributions to the Silverton Ambulance Fund or Mt. Hope Cemetery.
