1920 OR CENSUS - Edrie A. Housley, age 14, b. Illinois, is enumerated with mother Alma Z. Housley, age 42, widow, occupation furniture finisher, b. Iowa, along with Lowell C., age 17, b. Illinois.

OBITUARY: 
Edrie Aletha McClellan, 83, of Salem, died Tuesday, August 2 in Salem. She was born in Springfield, Ill. She moved to Spokane, Wash., then to Albany and later to Salem where she graduated from Willamette University. She taught high school for one year, then married Paul McClellan of West Stayton in 1928. She and her husband owned and operated a general grocery store and post office in West Stayton until 1966.
Paul Sr. preceded her in death in 1979. Their son, Paul Jr., died in 1966 in Vietnam.
She is survived by a stepson, Gene McClellan of Gates; a stepdaughter, Glenna Hansen, of Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Keys of Stayton; two granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and 3 step grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 5 in Weddle Mortuary. Private interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Salem.
