1880 OR CENSUS - Earl Pooler, age 5, b. Oregon, is enumerated with Lewis Pooler, age 49, occupation farmer, b. New York, and Adeline, age 39, b. Iowa, along with Effie Bell, age 16, Ida G., age 14, Emery S., age 10, Amy C., age 9, and Wayne, age 1 month, all born in Oregon.

1930 OR CENSUS - E. L. Pooler, age 53, occupation grocery store clerk, b. Oregon, is enumerated with wife Maud, age 51, b. Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
E. L. Pooler of Pratum Dies – Pratum – Funeral services for Earl Lewis Pooler, who died unexpectedly Saturday will be held Monday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at the W. T. Rigdon Co. Chapel. The Rev. Louis White will officiate.
Interment service will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pooler, 78, was born in Waldo Hills on June 20, 1874, the son of Lewis C. Pooler and Adeline Starmer, pioneers of the area. He farmed there until 1920 when he moved to Corvallis. He returned to his birthplace in 1933 to farm it until the close of the war. He then retired and moved to Pratum, where he spent the rest of his life.
Pooler married Maude DeSart of Silverton Nov. 25, 1897. He is survived by his widow, a daughter Leone Guthrie, Pratum; a son, Lewis C. Pooler, Mehama, and one grandchild, Allan Pooler of Mehama.
He was a member of the Knight Memorial Church in Salem.
