OBITUARY: Services for Marvin F. Humphreys 60, of 4636 Orchard Heights Road NW, who died Saturday, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Virgil T. Golden Mortuary. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to First Congregational Church.
Born in Silverton, Humphreys was a lifelong resident of the Mid-Willamette Valley. He attended Salem schools, graduated from Willamette University, served in the Army during World War II, and recently retired from Post Office Employment.
Survivors include widow, Jeanne B.; son, James; daughter, Beth; sister, Marjorie Hanson, and one grandson; all Salem.
