OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Paul Damewood, 61, Silverton Star Route, Box 4, died Friday at a Roseburg hospital following a short illness. He had recently been working for that city. A farmer most of his life, he was born in the McMinnville area.
Surviving are the widow, Erma, Silverton; son, Glen C. Damewood, Cottage Grove; daughter Merle Mulkey, Roseburg; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Damewood, Carlton; three sisters, Mrs. Solomon Walker, Burns, Mrs. Dorothy Browning, Salem, and Mrs. Kenneth Farwell, Stayton; brother, Clifford Damewood, Dayton, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ekman-Unger Funeral Home in Silverton with interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
