Oregon, along with Ethel D., age 29, single, teacher, Ava J., age 23, single, teacher, Elsie L., age 20, James. O., age 18, and Una C., age 14, all born in Oregon;
OBITUARY: 
Mehama – Ivan J. Darby, 79, Mehama, died Saturday in a Stayton hospital. He had been in poor health several months.
He was born east of Salem, where his parents pioneered in the Waldo Hills area, and he farmed in the Victor Point area.
He was a World War I army veteran with service in Russia, and prior to retirement about eight years ago he operated an agate shop at Mehama. He was also an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include sisters Mrs. J.J. Doerfler, Salem, and Mrs. Ethel Hofstetter and Ava Jane Darby, both in Vancouver, Wash.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Weddle Mortuary, Stayton.
